Moka Java Blend -green coffee beans

$6.60

The Moka Java Blend is a medium roasted pairing of coffees from Indonesia and Africa with notes of bittersweet & milk chocolates, syrup, cedar, and toffee for a complex, earthy cup.

ETHIOPIAN NATURAL SIDAMO:

Grown at 5900 – 7200 feet elevation, picked and naturally milled then dried on raised beds. Harvested from November – December.

Guji is one of the zones of the Oromia Region of Southern Ethiopia known for producing some amazing natural coffees. This coffee tends to showcase some nice fruit-forward characteristics with a medium body. In the past, coffees from Guji had been sold in the Sidamo category, but since the quality is high and the profile is unique, we’re seeing these coffees separated from other Sidamos at the ECX.

SUMATRA TAKENGON:

Grown at 4200 – 5200 feet elevation, picked and wet hulled then dried on a patio. Harvested from June – December.

The Sumatra Takengon GR1 DP PT IKA is sourced from the Jagong Mill and surrounding family-owned farms located in the Takengon and Atu Lintang coffee region of Aceh province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. Irham Junus owns and operates the Jagong Mill with his son, Andi and daughter, Ina. The Junus family has focused on meticulous ripe cherry selection resulting in something truly unique in Sumatra. The Junus family also has full control of the processing and milling right up to the final export stage, avoiding the long and convoluted supply lines that can compromise Sumatran quality.
